1. When you are applying your mascara, get as close to the root as you can with the wand. Then when you brush the mascara on, brush directly up and not away from the lash.

2. As you are lifting the wand, try to rotate the wand or move in horizontal motions to really separate the lashes.

3. The closer you get, the thicker and fuller your lashes will appear.

4. Try brushing on the mascara at an angle. In other words, you know when somebody else is applying your eyes and they say look up or down or look to the right? Do the same thing when applying mascara yourself.
