You might be a kick-ass independent girl - and all power to you for that - but you've gotta admit sometimes, especially around Valentine's Day, it gets a bit much being a single girl on the scene when everyone's cuddling, nuzzling and getting tied down to relationships. But hey, wait - who says you're living less of a life? Look, if you just dare to fly solo, you can reap the benefits.

So you're freaking out about that whole ‘going it alone' thing, aren't you? You've got your eye on some dudes and you'd love to get out there and hit the dating scene. Maybe you've just emerged from a relationship or you've been single and you're sick of it. Well, if you jump into the next relationship too quickly, you're gonna be missing out on how fun single time can be. If you've been single for long and don't believe me, maybe you haven't really used it to its full potential!

Taking time out of the dating game doesn't mean you're going to wind up a spinster or that you have to swear off guys forever. No, it just means that you want to take time out for YOU. Or, as Dido once put it, "to see the world alone again." See, when guys are around, they kind of mess with our perceptions, views and emotions at times. But without all those male distractions, you get full view - it's like someone tore off the blinds and let the sun come screaming in.

You also get to do anything you want to do; you get to be whoever you want to be, and you can do it without having to compromise a stitch of it. Sounds cool, eh? If you want to go on lots of dates you can coz there's no guy tying you down to anything serious. If you want to sky-dive, leave the country or follow your dream, you can go without having to map your guy into your plans. There is a lot of freedom that is waiting for you to do something fun and original with it. Don't let it slide!
