Find your cup By Candice Meiring
Rumour has it that 7 out of 10 women are wearing the wrong bra size. The problem is that bad, that Oprah has even dedicated whole shows to finding the right size! So if you didn’t get the memo on measuring your own bra size get the tape measure.
Finding the right pair of jeans depends on two important measurements, the waist and the length. The same theory applies to finding the right bra, there are 2 important measurements, your band size and your cup size. So if your bra is giving you that beautiful illusion of back fat and you’re busting out your cups it might be time to measure up, especially in time for bikini shopping.
First Step:
Grab some measuring tape and wrap it around your rib cage to find out your band size. You might need a friend to help you coz it can be tricky keeping it straight. Add 5 to this number to get your band size. If the band size was an odd number, round up to the next even number since bra bands only come in even numbers.
Second Step:
The second measurement should be taken around the fullest part of your bosom with your favorite bra on. This measures your cup size. Once you have a measurement subtract your band size from your cup size to calculate the right cup size.
Now have a look at the bra cup size chart below:
Bra Size Chart 1” larger than measurement 1--------------------A 2” larger than measurement 1--------------------B 3” larger than measurement 1--------------------C 4” larger than measurement 1--------------------D 5” larger than measurement 1--------------------E 6” larger than measurement 1--------------------F
And that’s that, you’re all set for great bosoms! Remember your bra size can chop and change like your jean size so now that you know to measure it yourself, you can keep yourself in the right cup.

Change the world. One hair Iron at a time. by Candice Meiring
In my humble opinion I believe if everyone in the world had a hair iron the world would be a much calmer place. Seriously if everyone had a good hair day, everyday the world would be a much happier place.
There are a lot of bad hair irons out there so here’s a checklist of what you want to find in a hair iron.
1.Swivel Cord – So that the cord doesn’t tangle and break 2.210-degree temp – Anything cooler won’t do the job. 3.Heat Regulator – A devise that constantly regulates every 5 secs 4.Ceramic – Ceramic plates are essential. It’s quite technical but basically it sends out infra red heat deep into the hair.
They can be expensive but rather spend the extra cash and get a respected brand that will last longer and do the job better.

Botox, face lifts and plastic surgeons step aside. There is a new anti aging phenomenon taking over Hollywood….Face Yoga.
Face Yoga is for everyone and anyone who wants to look younger and feel healthy without all the cosmetic stuff. Uh, isn’t that all of us? Apparently the results are amazing and pretty quick, even Posh Spice has jumped aboard the Face Yoga ship. It sounds quite simple so now all you have to do is try….
Face Yoga Poses to Try Courtesy of yoga instructor Leta Koontz. Her DVD, Fresh Face Yoga, will be available soon. Lion Face (pictured here)
Take a slow, steady inhale of breath and constrict every muscle in your body: your toes, your buttocks, your fists — everything. On a slow, steady exhale, relax those muscles, stick out your tongue, widen your eyes and open your hands. Repeat three times. On the last repetition, try to hold the exhale position for 30 to 60 seconds to really stretch your tongue. According to Hagen, this is excellent for circulation to the face as well as a great way to release tension in the jaw — which she says tends to lead to wrinkles. |
Chill Out by Candice Meiring
Start the day with a hot shower... but before you get out, switch to cold water for about fifteen seconds. And when I say cold I mean, just cold water. “Why would I want to do that?” I hear you cry!
This is a simple hydrotherapy technique that revitalizes the skin by stimulating the flow of blood through the body. It’s all about boosting your blood circulation to refresh and revitalise your skin, and is apparently good for cellulite.
So even though it’s close to Baltic temps in the mornings these days, give it a try, it can really work. Beauty is pain darlings! |
