Stash: Hair extensions
If you get bored with your hair often, hair extensions can be a great idea. You can have blue hair one week and red the next, without experiencing the drama of bleaching and colouring your hair, which damages it. But just ensure you have the extensions done at a reputable salon (horror stories of hair damage are all around), and that you take care of them. Rock out with a cool colour that's only dependant on your mood, or get extensions that match your natural hair so you add some va-va-volume to your style.
Trash: Generic sms messages
You spend all day waiting for your crush's text message, only to receive one that is so general it could have been sent to his dog's veterinarian. For instance, "Hey, how was your day? Hope you have a good evening." Where's the pizzazz? The flirtatiousness? The interesting stuff? All you're left with is an sms conversation that is going nowhere fast. You'll have to reply that you had a good day, ask about his and chances are the chat will turn into a weather forecast. Sigh, how annoying! Save the bland messages for your mama, boys!
