What you need to know:
We will be at each of these malls from 09:00 – 14:30 on those dates to take your entries and your photo’s. All you have to do is arrive on the day at your mall of choice, fill out the entry form and smile for the camera. It’s that easy and it’s FREE. We are looking for natural, wholesome, happy girls who best represent Saltwater Girl. You don’t have to be tall, and you don’t have to be skinny. We want the real you, so come on down and join us for the most spectacular SWG Model Search yet. Only girls between the ages of 14 – 22 are allowed to enter. Entrants must not be signed with an existing modeling agency. This opportunity is free for new (no older than 3 issues received) or renewing Saltwater GIRL subscribers. Girls arrive at each mall on a designated day and have their picture taken by a photographer. The top 3 girls will all win modelling contracts with Boss Models with the Winner getting her first international modelling contract to New York / Paris sponsored by Boss Models. She will also win the March issue COVER of SWG as well as a fashion spread in the magazine.
Here are the prizes:
- The top 10 girls will be up for selection for portfolio with Boss Models
- The winner gets the March cover of SWG as well as the Fashion spread
- The winner gets a modeling contract with Boss Models
- Boss Models will also sponsor her first overseas modeling trip flight

2012 The SWG Experience is 5 days of ultimate fun in the sun. 10 girls selected from all over SA are flown to Durban and get the opportunity to spend time with SWG, their favourite brands and have the experience of a lifetime. We choose 10 girls from a portal on our website where girls are invited to create a profile of themselves sharing who they are and why it is that they deserve a spot on the SWG Experience. SWG caters for everything. We pay for their flights, we arrange accommodation. We collect the girls from the airport. We transport them for the 5 days. We feed them. We set up all the events and manage their execution, from bungee jumping, horse riding on the beach, drum circles and spa sessions. We make sure your week is filled with memories you will never forget!

What you need to know:
The SWG Sessions is an event that brings together reader, advertiser and magazine. Held in CPT, JHB and Durban 40- 50 girls sign up to engage with SWG and their favourite brands. The event works on a first come first serve basis. The first girls to book secure their coveted seats. SWG invites a maximum of 4 advertisers who each receive 90 minutes to engage with the girls, either in the form of an activity or through market research. We supply food for the girls as well as a goodie bag from the sponsors for you to take home.
